  केंद्र सरकार ने वैश्विक निवेशकों के लिए अंतरिक्ष के दरवाजे खोल दिए हैं. प्रधानमंत्री   नरेंद्र मोदी   की अगुवाई में बुधवार को हुई केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक में स्पेस व सैटेलाइट जैसे सेक्टर के लिए विदेशी निवेश के नियमों को आसान करने का निर्णय लिया गया. अब स्पेस सेक्टर में भारत सरकार ने 100 फीसदी एफडीआई की मंजूरी दे दी है. अंतरिक्ष में आत्मनिर्भर बनेगा भारत केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक के बाद देर रात जारी किए गए एक आधिकारिक बयान में बताया गया कि सैटेलाइट के कम्पोनेंट बनाने के लिए विदेशी कंपनियां भारत में 100 फीसदी तक निवेश कर सकती हैं. भारत सरकार स्पेस सेगमेंट के बढ़ावा देने का प्रयास कर रही है. इसके लिए स्ट्रेटजिक माने जाने वाले स्पेस सेक्टर में कुछ समय पहले ही प्राइवेट प्लेयर्स के लिए नियम आसान बनाए गए थे. अब एफडीआई के नियमों में बदलाव से स्पेस सेगमेंट में विदेशी कंपनियों को आकर्षित करने में मदद मिलेगी. यह कदम स्पेस व सैटेलाइट के मामले में देश को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने में भी मददगार साबित हो सकता है. पहले हर विदेशी निवेश के लिए थी ये शर्त बयान के अनुसार , सरकार ने सैटेलाइट सब-सेक्टर
